What We Believe
Who We Are
We are a group of people from all walks of life, who have realised that we are sinners in the sight of God.

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God
Romans 3:23
We have been baptised by immersion, as taught by the Lord Jesus, and as described in the New Testament.

And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
Matthew 28:18-19

Now as they went down the road, they came to some water. And the eunuch said, “See, here is water. What hinders me from being baptised?” Then Philip said, “If you believe with all your heart, you may.” And he answered and said, “I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.” So he commanded the chariot to stand still. And both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water, and he baptized him. Now when they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught Philip away, so that the eunuch saw him no more; and he went on his way rejoicing.
Acts 8:36-39
We have each received the Lord Jesus Christ as our Saviour, and have acknowledged Him as Lord of our lives.

That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
Romans 10:9
We are an independent group of Christians who meet according to the pattern described in the New Testament.

For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.
Matthew 18:20

Then those who gladly received his word were baptised; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them. And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.
Acts 2:41-42
What We Do
We meet together on Sunday mornings for the "Breaking of Bread" or "Lord's Supper". Only members of the church are able to take the bread and wine at this meeting, but visitors are welcome to attend and watch.
And He took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is My body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me.”
Likewise He also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is shed for you.
Luke 22:19-20
We meet together on Wednesdays for Bible
Teaching. We believe that the Bible is the Word Of God, and is the final authority on all matters of faith, belief and practice.
All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness
2 Timothy 3:16
We meet together on Mondays for prayer, to thank God for His help and blessings, and to ask for help and guidance for the future. We believe that God hears and answers our prayers.
We meet together for Gospel activities. We believe the Gospel is the Good News that Jesus Christ died for our sins, that He was buried and that He rose again the third day.
For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures.
1 Corinthans 15:3-4
